We’re happy to share that Link Robotics has kicked off a new R&D project supported by TÜBİTAK, focused on building an Attitude and Heading Reference System (AHRS) using advanced sensor fusion techniques.

An AHRS is a core navigation component that delivers accurate roll, pitch and heading (yaw) information. In this project, we’ll be working on fusing data from:

  • IMUs (gyroscopes and accelerometers)

  • Magnetometers

  • and our visual-inertial odometry know-how

The aim is to create a robust, high-precision AHRS that can support autonomy in robotics, mobility platforms, and positioning systems where reliability is critical.

This work also builds on our VINS RTK and digital twin generation efforts, helping us create a more complete navigation stack that works seamlessly in both indoor and outdoor environments.

We’re proud to contribute to the deeptech ecosystem in Türkiye, and believe this development can also strengthen our position in export markets where advanced navigation modules are in high demand.

A big thank you to TÜBİTAK for making this project possible, and to our team at Link Robotics for pushing the boundaries of navigation and autonomy.
